We’re thrilled to be starting 2021 with quite a large group of young businesses, joining us for DCI’s fifth cohort.
We look forward to helping these businesses develop and grow over the next six months, but in the meantime take a look at who we have on board.
PIK Sustainable Solutions Ltd
PIK is a combined food waste management & diet tracking app with a focus on speed & simplicity.
PIK has a team of 5 undergraduates from our partners, Durham University, specialising in a range of subjects.
The Tax Faculty
The Tax Faculty LLP provides specialist accountancy practices in resolving HMRC enquiries and investigations, bespoke tax computations and advisory work to SMEs locally and nationally.
They are “the tax experts you need, when you need them”.
Bionix is a software development company that is currently building solutions within the environment and sustainability sector.
FoodForage is their main internal project, which allows users to discover and share local plant based and vegan products.
Networking KnoWho helps people create conversations: passionate about connecting people they teach networking skills and create networking strategies.
Founder Jeni’s goal is to build a platform that auto-populates networking events from all over the world and will allow users from anywhere to find the right event for them.
The Little Lunchbox
The Little LunchBox is a technology driven, food catering business which aims at helping busy parents with their children’s pack lunch.
The platform creates high quality, nutritious and fun lunch boxes, whilst providing parents functionality to monitor likes/dislikes and nutritional information.
Founder, Bronzie, is a Masters student at our partners, Durham University Business School.
DigiMonk provides intelligent software for food businesses to manage their operations and reduce cost.
Founder, Manish, is currently working with local food banks to test the current platform.
soloist.life is an affordable web-based business management software solution developed specifically for freelancers.
Requiring virtually no set-up, it helps users stay organised, ensure their customers are well looked after, and get paid efficiently for their hard work.
Vend Analytics is a subscription-based software as a service (SaaS) specialising in online ordering systems for restaurants.
Within six months, Vend has already signed five clients in Durham.
